Few artists are fortunate enough to have a wild stream to work in, but I have one running through my backyard. This summer saw the installation of Green Stream: a dozen reclaimed window frames mounted in Sibley Creek. Playing with transparency and opacity I removed the glass and mounted panels of acrylic sheet in some of the frames. These were painted camouflage green to block visibility in some areas, while allowing visibility through others. Some of the frames were mounted below the water line, allowing the creek to run through them. Others were suspended above it.
